Boo in Stitches

You guys, when I went to Sewing Summit a couple of years ago, I met the MOST darling gal on the fabric shop hop.  She was sitting just in front of my friend Elena and I and she was so freaking adorable and sweet that I couldn’t help but fall in love with her.  Her name is Shannon and she’s got excellent taste.

Fast forward to now and Shannon and her sister Colleen have decided to join forces to start a new company that combines their skills of sewing and graphic design.  Enter: Boo in Stitches.  You guys are going to love what they have to offer.

These prints are just the CUTEST!  And FUNNY!  I showed my husband and he started laughing…and we all know that getting a guy to laugh about sewing humor is pretty rare. 😉  I think they’ve got a great thing going on here and I’m already excited to see what they put out next.

These prints have such a fresh and fun appeal.  I love when people don’t take themselves so seriously.  And the colors are great.  I have a couple of them in person and I think that the prints are a great saturation level and quality.  And did I say fun?!

And seriously.  How cute are they?  I love when cute people turn out to be really truly nice AND talented.  Shannon has sent me cards that her sister designed prior to this because she’s in my birthday club and I already loved her sister’s style long before I saw these prints.

  1. On first glance I was dashing toward the "I like big bolts…" print and then I saw the "I pity the spool" and that was that. [And it would go great on a t-shirt too.]

  2. It's so hard to pick a favorite! I think it's a tie between "I like big bolts", "I pity the spool", and the seam ripper one. I can't wait to see what they come up with next. Oh and I'm always a sucker for a good t-shirt!

  3. These are so cute! I love the seam ripper and I pity the spool the best, and can't wait to see what else they come up with! I think expanding to knitting would be great, too!!

  4. Oh I've already emailed them my idea, which I think is hilarious, involving Stevie Nicks, chain piecing and a shawl. If I don't win a print I'll certainly be buying them to put in my new sewing room 🙂

  5. What fun graphics! I would need a lot more time to pick a favorite – I like them all. They would definitely work up nicely in t-shirts too. (Just please don't use teespring – I'm not happy with the one I got from them)

  6. What a clever idea. I like them all; but "I pity the spool" is my favorite, though the others are probably all tied for second. These would make great quilty-friend gifts.

  7. So cute! The seam ripper one (Hello? Is it me you're looking for?) is my favorite. I should tell my guild about these. They would make super cute door prizes or something.

  8. I love the seam ripper best, but I'm worried that song would be stuck in my head for DAYS every time I saw it. It's STUCK THERE NOW, AAAUUUUGGGHHHH! They are cute and seriously funny. 🙂

  9. Oh my!!! This is such a great way to say what all sewists around the world have in mind everyday 😉 I would love to be the proud owner of one of these 🙂

  10. Cute! I have the perfect spot for one in my sewing room! Thanks for the chance to win. They would also work for my mouse pad (which is right next to my sewing machine!)

  11. Big bolts is my fav but these are all so cute! I'd definitely buy a tshirt. I also like sewing stickers which I'm using to decorate the hard white case that came with my Janome. Still has lots of room left – hint hint!
