Today we decided to brave the slightly chilly weather and take Caitlyn to the Pumpkin Patch. Β But don’t be fooled by the low key name. Β This is no Charlie Brown pumpkin patch. Β No siree. Β It’s full of fun and activities…we didn’t come close to doing them all! Β There were cow trains and giant jumping platforms, pony rides and hayrides, animals to pet and corn mazes. Β There were giant slides and potato guns, three wheeler tracks and of course pumpkins!! Β Here’s a peak at our day.
and more!
Someday we’ll actually do the corn maze (Caitlyn is still pretty young for that) and it will be even more fun. Β I’m not much for scary fall things…I get scared WAY to easily. Β There is an AWESOME haunted house not far from here but it’s just too darn scary for me. Β So I’m happy to do the fall festive things instead.
Oh and I got the sweetest package today from my friend Kelly, Kelbysews. Β I didn’t go to Sewing Summit, but she did (and was a fabulous teacher!) and she bought some of us little packages to let us know she was thinking of us while in Utah. Β Quilty Friends are the best. Β And no Kelly, I’m still not going to share my Orla Kiely numbers book with Caitlyn. Β I did let her read it though. π
She is adorable and what fun!!!
what better way to spend a cold but dry day xx precious times xx
such a fun day!
I am really hoping Jay will get a day off and can go with Steiger to the pumpkin patch for the first time ever!
Looks like a really fun day!!
So fun!! Your hair is growing out- it looks gorgeous, as you always do!! π And what a sweetheart Kelby is!
This post makes me smile π
Looks like loads of fun. I think Laura would like me to take her to one, but they seem rather thin on the ground in Northern Arizona, who'da thunk it ;o)
