In Print

I had a wonderfully surreal moment last week. I received a mysterious box in the mail…those are the best, don’t you think? I opened it up to discover my three copies of the magazine that three of my projects are in. The magazine is called 101 Patchwork projects and quilts and is distributed by interweave press. This is their first edition of this particular magazine though I think a second one might be out in the fall. And I believe the official release date is today!

101 Patchwork Projects and Quilts - Spring 2011

This magazine is chock full of lovely projects. It’s definitely worth picking up…and I’m saying that because I’m in it. 😉 Although I doubt that I’m completely unbiased I’ll admit.

My hands were shaking as I skimmed through it just looking for my projects and the projects of friends of mine. I had seen my name in print in the table of contents the week before, but now I could see it in person!

Then I found each of my projects! First I saw my quilty chair recover.

Then I found my wall organizer!

I wasn’t completely in love with the photo that they took of this. I’m not really sure what they have stuffed in the pockets…some kind of random trim. Hmmm…how about a pattern or something? oh well. So I took a few pictures of my own because I hardly had time to do that before I shipped it off originally.
