I’m going to be running a little series on my blog called “Quilting Around the World”. Basically, I am interested in finding out what it is like to be a quilter all over the world. How is it different from my own experience? One of my favorite aspects about being part of the online quilting community is meeting people from all over the world. But I know that life, in general, can be very different for each of us.
So I’ve asked a number of interesting and fun people to be a part of this series who live all over the world. They are all people that I would love to learn more about and I think that you will too. And please let me know of anyone you think would be an interesting candidate for this as well (or if you would like to be featured!).
Good idea! I nominate Sarah of Fairy Face Designs 🙂
I love this idea and am looking forward to learning more. I would love a smaller button for my blog (when you feel up to it) to help spread the word. Great idea :o)
Cool idea, looking forward to learning more.
Oh this sounds VERY exciting. I visited several places when I was in the Navy, but unfortunately for me it was before my quilting life. I do so wish I was smart enough to have collected fabric back then!
Fun! Being in bees I've learned alot about different places! This will be cool
Great idea, I am looking forward to following along!
Very neat! I'm looking forward to reading! Also, to change the size of the button, you can just edit the link, by changing the code width="150" next to the image source (or whatever number you want).
This will be fun. I am sure you already have Ayumi…how about my friend, Annabella, who lives in Morocco and blogs at http://kechquilts.blogspot.com/
I shared this on my blog today. Great idea.

Kerry from verykerryberry. And it would be fun to feature some of them on the Name Game series too.
Cute! I added the small button. I have a few international followers on my blog.
How fun!! I can't wait to see who you feature!!
Wow Angela, what a great idea! I can't wait to see this series as it unfolds!
What a cool premise. Looking forward to see what you have comin!
This really is a fabulous idea! Can't wait to learn more about what it is like to be a quilter all around the world.
I would love to participate! I am in the Middle East! Just saw your blog as it is the holy month of Ramadan this August and it has been busy in that way! Let me know what I need to do for you!
