Eep! That’s right. I’m going to be teaching at Sewing Summit in the Fall! I’m nervous and excited about it already.
I’m going to be teaching a class that focuses on sewing curves (for example, a drunkard’s path block). Each person in the class will learn my tips and tricks for sewing curved pieces and we’ll be using our work to make a mini. But not just any mini! We’ll be forgoing the quilting and basting and instead will be directly stretching the mini onto canvas for a quick perfect piece. Ready for hanging right away!
So have no fear! You too can learn to sew curves. I promise, you can do it! And if you already know how to do it then maybe you want to pick up some tricks or just try the class for the mini project. Or you’ll just take pity on me and sign up for my class so I don’t feel rejected. 😉
There are some really interesting class offerings so far this year and it sounds like a lot of fun. Last year they sold out in a couple of hours. I have no idea what will happen this year. Anyone’s guess. But the limit is 250. Soooo….you might want to decide really quickly if you haven’t already if you want to come. Because hey, I’m going to be there. So you KNOW it will be awesome. 😉
Yay! That's awesome Angela… I have referred people to your circle stitching tutorials before, and they have been very helpful!
Of course now that I decided not to go its going to be the best year ever! Your class sounds fun.
Congrats Angela! I wish I was able to go and take your class 🙂 You will do great.
Amanda

Congrats, how fun! : )
I'm just now catching up on my blog reading and am a little behind. But I am so glad that you are teaching. I just registered for Sewing Summit and am way excited!
