This post is part of an ongoing series of posts for A Zig and A Zag Quilt Along I’m hosting here on my blog. Β You can join in at any time! Β You will find the links to all previous steps in my sidebar.
So the Zig Zag Quilt along here is coming slowly but surely. Β I’ve loved seeing all the photos of what YOU all are making. Β You guys just inspire me! Β Love it.
I personally have been SUPER busy with decorations for my friend’s wedding this weekend. Β So after this week, I should hopefully have some time to really devote to this quilt. Β But I do have two complete rows (and two partial rows) and I’m already loving it!
You guys are all so creative in with your own zig-zag quilts! Β I love all the variations we have going on.
Candice has the sweetest green quilt in the makings which I talked her into naming Kermit’s Path. Β She’s using a fabulous dark green background!
And I just love the stripes in the background on this one!
And look at Janice’s gorgeous finished rainbow top!! Β I did a happy dance when I saw this.
And I LOVE her back for this quilt.
There are some other fabulous quilts that are started out there I know! Β I hope to show off a few different ones each week. Β So keep posting your pictures in the Cut To Pieces Group on Flickr!
Angela, thank you for the compliment, and thank you for hosting this QAL. I learned a lot. I just took my quilt top and back to my favorite long arm quilter. I'm so excited.
Oh my goodness, mercy me!! I flipped when I saw my little picture on your famous blog!! I have rows on my design wall, just waiting to be sewed π I am loving this QAL and the gorgeous variations everyone is making :). You are such a perfect teacher and I am so glad to "know" you!! Thanks again!
These are great quilts…the variations to the idea are wonderful inspirations! THanks for showing them.
Wow so much talent! Looks great guys!
What a wonderful surprise to see me in your blog! I'm Andrea from Argentina. My quilt is striped Thanks ….
Wow! I was surprised to see my photos here!
I thought I was going to finish my quilt top today, but had a sad surprise when I discovered my brain had gone to sleep while I was cutting the angled units and I cut a dozen of them too small! Thank goodness I have some fabric left! So tomorrow I'm back to making strips sets.
