Agh! I’m one of the four finalists in the Moda Sliced Competition!!! So you’ll be seeing at least one more project from me for that.
I’m excited, nervous, bouncing up and down and already furiously thinking about what to do for the next challenge.
They announced with finalists on the Moda Bakeshop blog. They liked my second entry…the inspiration board! Woohoo!
The challenge for this week:
The Challenge? Pin Cushion
Sewing Basket of Mystery Items:
· Fabric used from a Moda Jelly Roll – can be any collection or mix of collections
· Button – must be at least one button, any size, shape, color.
· Ric Rac – any size, color.
Thinking, thinking, thinking…. (oh and I’m really glad that I’ve made three pincushions in the last month! lol)
Go check out the other finalists and congrats to them and especially the honorable mentions. There were some that I thought would be winners for sure! So know that there are some really fabulous projects that were submitted. And I’m sure we’ll see some of those on moda bakeshop eventually!
